Frequently Asked Questions

Where do we practice?  Each week we have scheduled 1 hour of indoor gym time for team practices.  Practice locations vary each season and will be in the Chandler or Gilbert city limits. 

Can I request my friend or coach during registration?  Yes, you will see the section to add a coach or friend/family member to play with. We will do our best to honor all requests, however, we can't guarantee you will be on the same team.

How many players per team? Minimum of 6 players. It is recommended that you do not exceed 10 players per team so every player can receive a fair amount of playing time.

What are the age divisions? Pre K, K, 1st/2nd grade, 3rd/4th grade, 5th/6th grade, 7th/8th grade and High School.

How long is the season? The seasons vary from 7 - 8 weeks long. The first 6-7 weeks consist of regular season games and the final week is the playoffs.

What is included in the registration? Each player will receive a reversible NBA jersey. Each season we schedule 6 regular season games and a end of season single elimination playoffs.  Playoff bracket champions will receive trophy’s.

What does my player need for game days? Each player should bring the uniform provided, basketball shoes and water.

What is your refund Policy? 

East Valley Basketball (EVBB) will refund you in full (less a $10 processing fee) if requested 4 weeks prior to the start of the season. If you registered within 4 weeks of the season you would need to cancel within 48 hours after registration for a full refund. 50% will be refunded after 48 hours up to the first game of the season. Please understand that EVBB is a small community organization and that we build rosters, order jersey's, rent gyms, purchase player insurance and other expenses at least 4 weeks before the season begins.
